What is CBD?
CBD - short for cannabidiol is a non psychoactive chemical compound from the cannabis sativa plant. It a naturally occurring substance that is widely used for its health benefits and it's ability to create a feeling of calm and relaxation. CBD is found in both hemp and marijuana plants.
Is CBD Legal?
At the federal level, Hemp derived CBD products are legal as long as they have less than 0.3% THC and are grown by properly licensed growers. Marijuana derived CBD products are however illegal.
At the state level however, the legality of CBD varies from state to state. Please find out the legal status of CBD in your state.
At herbal goodness, our CBD is derived from hemp and contains less that 0.3 percent THC. Our CBD is also grown by properly licensed growers.
How can I use CBD?
There are various ways of using CBD.
The most common method of using CBD is by imbibing it orally. (liquid extracts, teas, gummies). Other ways include inhalation, applying it topically, injecting it into the bloodstream (for medical use only) and using it Intravaginally or Intrarectally.
What are the benefits of CBD?
CBD has the ability to work with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) — a critical regulator of our nervous, immune, and endocrine systems- and may act as a regulator for our ECS.
Is CBD addictive?
CBD is not an addictive substance addictive and has a low chance of inducing tolerance or physical dependence.
